In the central and southern parts of Sri Lanka, there are several peaks that are natural and rich in biodiversity. These mountains are conserved as forests and are the catchment areas for many rivers. Knuckles is one the most remarkable ecosystems in Sri Lanka with a range of forest mountains, water sources and wildlife diversity. Loved by travelers for its beauty, the Knuckles Mountain Range has become a hot spot for eco-tourism in Sri Lanka.
The Knuckles Mountain Range is considered one of the toughest hiking trails in the country. It is best attempted by those who have prior experience in hiking. That being said, no matter how experienced you are, it’s mandatory to have a guide. Besides, due to the area’s vastness and the possibility of getting lost, hikers are only allowed to enter the protected reserve with a qualified guide. Failure to do so will land you in trouble with the authorities. Experienced trekkers will assist you at the Knuckles Conservation area which is a famous tourist destination offering jungle treks, mountain climbing and opportunities for overnight camping.

At the end of your trek, you will reach a rural village where our Team Leader will warmly welcome you to a local villager’s home and brief you on village life . Having rested, you will have the unique opportunity to taste local beer & truly authentic Sir Lankan lunch prepared by locals prior to being driven back to your pick up point.

4. Note – The starting point of the tour is Kandy. However, if you want us to pick you up from a different location, we can arrange it at an extra cost.
5. Dress Code : Casual, Comfortable clothing and need to wear appropriately when visiting Religious Sites
6. ‘No Show’ will not be entitled to any refunds.
7. Price : Price mention is for group size of 10 and above.
8. Payments: In order to confirm your Activity, 10% deposit of the full payment is required upon confirmation. Balance 90% should be paid 24 hours prior to departure of the commence activity Or at the time of pick up from the Colombo Air Port for those who commence the activity upon arrival in Sri Lanka.
9. Our Cancellation/refund Policy:
Cancellation Policy : 14 days prior to the arrival date
90 days or more before departure -We will retain 10% of Deposit
89 to 64 days before departure – We will retain 25% of Deposit
63 to 43 days before departure -We will retain 50% of Deposit
42 to 31 days before departure -We will retain 75% of Deposit
Within 30 days of departure -We will retain 100% of Deposit
10. Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is not included in your activity price. It is your responsibility to verify whether your local health/travel insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling.
We strongly encourage and advise you to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your activity including the loss of deposits through cancellation, loss of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death. A waiver must be signed if insurance is declined.
