With its sleek high – rise buildings and elegant colonial facades, Colombo exudes a unique character that is bound to fascinate the visitor. It is also the country’s main hub in trade, administration and social fabric. First, you will head towards the Beira Lake and visit the famed Gangaramaya Temple. Also, you will pay a quick visit to the Seema Malakaya on the Beira Lake. Next, you will visit the National Museum of Colombo, which is a treasure trove of history as it houses a multitude of historical artifacts that are utterly impossible to value, both intrinsically and historically. Afterwards, continue down Albert Crescent and catch a glimpse of the stately Independence Memorial Hall. You will enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan lunch at Upali’s before getting back on the road. Next, you will visit the Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct, which offers a great mix of relaxation, cuisine and retail therapy. As the sun begins to set, you will take a leisurely stroll along Galle Face.
Price mentioned is for 1 traveler with only Transportation cost for up to 50Km, which more than sufficient enough to visit the places of interest mentioned in the Itinerary, pick-up & Drop off to the Hotel etc . For each additional 1km , fee of $0.35 USD (Rs.110) will be charged.
Fee is payable in local currency which is Rs.19,240 excludes fees for other travelers, if any + other extra charges such as but not limited to Entry Fees, Food & Accommodation, Fees for extra kilometers etc. In order to confirm your tour package, 10% deposit of the full payment is required upon confirmation. Balance 90% should be paid 24 hours prior to departure of the tour Or at the time of pick up from the Colombo Air Port for those who commence the Tour upon arrival in Sri Lanka. Hotel Charges & Food is not included in the price.
